Sunday
Sometimes Necessary, Silence Is
I'm re-organizing my life right now, a re-building if you will, b/c at 31 years of age, I'm not where I should be, or even where I'd like to be. Something has got to give, and it won't be me, feel me? I'm re-grouping my ideas, re-directing energy, both physical and mental. I'm re-focusing on long lost goals, both short and long term. Something has got to change, and it'll be this dismal life that I have put myself in, understand?
I'm having to re-evaluate those that are around me, and decide on who's going to stay, and who's going to have to leave. I no longer have the energy for cowards, liers, decievers, cheats, men who mis-treat women, and women who play games with men. Be it brother, sister, uncle, aunt, friend, or foe - if you do measure up you have to go!(hey, that rhymed!) Don't have time for unhonest people, people who are lazy, people who I deem to be "mental midgets"(got that one from my girl Afeni), and in general people who aren't going anywhere in life, those who have no plans whatsoever.

Taking morning tea,
the monk remains in silence-
chrysanthemums bloom.

Heavenly Whispers
Under a quiet tree I seat,
feeling gentle breezes...
Allah is whispering in my ear.

Sleep arm in arm.

~Rise up above the masses of people that are afraid to act!
~Hiding like a Turtle in a shell is not living at all. A Samurai must have heroic courage. It is absolutely risky. It is dangerous. It is living life completely, fully, wonderfully. Heroic courage is not blind...
~A truly brave man is ever serene. He is never taken by surprise. Earthquakes do not shake him. He laughs at storms...
Compassion
Loyalty
Honor...
Detachment
~If you are physically fit and well, you're going to be thinking better.
~A Warrior makes decisions quickly.
~He learns from mistakes and moves on.
~He does not devote mental space to worrying about-
circumstances that he cannot control
people who are energy draining
people who are detrimental to themselves
people who have stopped growing...
~If you knew me, you would understand me. None knows me, so none understands me. I am Light. I am Knowledge. I am Hope. I am Courage. I am Brave. I am Me. I will never give up. I can't give up. I will see things through to the end. I will make my dreams come true.
